In 1993, the American progressive Rock Band known as Trans-Siberian Orchestra started making music that would affect millions over the course of their life span. As of 2009, they have sold over 8 million concert tickets to fans from all around the world. In addition to doing shows, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra has also sold roughly 8.5 million albums, which is considered monumentally successful in the musical realm.
